Sarah Probert BVSc MRCVS – Senior Vet
Sarah qualified from Bristol University in 2000 and has lived in Shropshire ever since. In December 2003 she set up on her own, starting Bridgnorth Veterinary Centre. She takes great interest in preventative care to ensure the well being of your pets and also a particular interest in osteoarthritis and pain management. She has 2 children and 2 border collies herself, and consequently she has a keen interest in canine behaviour!! In her spare time she enjoys practising Yoga.
John Willdig BVetMed MRCVS – Vet
John qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2012. He started his career as a Vet in a busy practice in Wolverhampton then after 5 years moved to a practice in Telford to be closer to home near Bridgnorth and now he is even closer still! John enjoys all aspects of being a general vet especially getting to know your pets and you! But if there was a particular topic of interest then it would be itchy skin – you might not be able to stop him talking about it! At home, John is married with 2 daughter, and has numerous pets which keep him busy when he is not at surgery including 2 dogs, 2 cats, pigs, ducks, chickens, sheep and horses.
David Beechey – Vet
David qualified from Bristol in 1994. He joined Bridgnorth Vets in March 2024. David enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery especially ones of the the more fiddly and delicate nature. One aspect David particularly finds rewarding is building long term relationships with clients and their pets and the mutual teamwork this entails.
He has 2 rescue cats – Boo and Rodney and a bouncy bearded collie called Tayvy, who keep him busy. His passion is hill walking and exploring the wilds of the Scottish Highlands with his family. To let off steam he also races sailing dinghies locally
Sarah Jarrett Practice Manager
Sarah joined the team in January 2016 as a full time receptionist. She previously worked for Bridgnorth Town Council. She has a cat called Molly and is married with a daughter and son. In her spare time she enjoys running and keeping fit, she also plays netball with some of the other girls from BVC.
Lynne Jones RVN – Head Nurse
Head Nurse Lynne qualified in 1999 and first started working at a veterinary practice in Worcestershire. She started working at BVC in October 2004. Lynne has 3 dogs, 2 cats and a tortoise. On the human side of life, Lynne has a husband and two daughters and is a keen gardener which keeps her busy when she isn’t keeping the nursing team in check at BVC! She enjoys running, gardening and walking the dogs.
Kayleigh Smart RVN – Veterinary Nurse
Kayleigh qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2017 and joined the team here in December 2017. Her hobbies include bodybuilding, keeping fit and socialising with friends. She is a supporter of LGBT and attends Pride every year. She is also a talented dog groomer!
Sam Morrell RVN – Veterinary Nurse
Sam qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2021. At home she has a cat and a dog called Bella. In her spare time she likes to going on long walks with her partner and pooch and socialising with friends.”
Ros Gough – Animal Care Assistant
I’m Ros and love animals. I worked at Birmingham Dog’s Home for 30 years and St George’s Veterinary practice before joining Bridgnorth Vets. I have two dogs, Annie and Gracie, together with a stroppy cockatiel called Beryl. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf and bingo.
Raine Gray – Head Receptionist
Raine joined the team at the end of 2023 after having a varied 30 year career in human healthcare and needing a fresh (but not unrelated) challenge.
Is the current human servant of a cat called Fish. Raine loves to spend time with family, hill walking, paddle boarding and travelling.
Manti – Receptionist
Manti joined the team in September 2021 as a full time receptionist. She previously worked for Bridgnorth Medical Practice. She has two lurchers, Daisy and Maggie who love long country walks. In her spare time she likes walking and creating things out of recycled timber.
Holly – Receptionist
Holly joined the BVC team in January 2022. She previously worked at Bridgnorth Hospital as a receptionist.
Holly has three cats and a 2 dogs, and is married with two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys going on long walks with her family, listening to music and cooking.
