Sarah Probert BVSc MRCVS – Senior Vet

Sarah qualified from Bristol University in 2000 and has lived in Shropshire ever since. In December 2003 she set up on her own, starting Bridgnorth Veterinary Centre. She takes great interest in preventative care to ensure the well being of your pets and also a particular interest in osteoarthritis and pain management. She has 2 children and 2 border collies herself, and consequently she has a keen interest in canine behaviour!! In her spare time she enjoys practising Yoga and riding her horse.

John Willdig BVetMed MRCVS – Vet

John qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2012. He started his career as a Vet in a busy practice in Wolverhampton then after 5 years moved to a practice in Telford to be closer to home near Bridgnorth and now he is even closer still! John enjoys all aspects of being a general vet especially getting to know your pets and you! But if there was a particular topic of interest then it would be itchy skin – you might not be able to stop him talking about it! At home, John is married with 2 daughter, and has numerous pets which keep him busy when he is not at surgery including 2 dogs, 2 cats, pigs, ducks, chickens, sheep and horses.

Sarah Jarrett Practice Manager

Sarah joined the team in January 2016 as a full time receptionist. She previously worked for Bridgnorth Town Council. She has a cat called Molly and is married with a daughter and son. In her spare time she enjoys running and keeping fit, she also plays netball with some of the other girls from BVC.

Lynne Jones RVN – Head Nurse

Head Nurse Lynne qualified in 1999 and first started working at a veterinary practice in Worcestershire. She started working at BVC in October 2004. Lynne has 3 dogs, 2 cats and a tortoise. On the human side of life, Lynne has a husband and two daughters and is a keen gardener which keeps her busy when she isn’t keeping the nursing team in check at BVC! She is a member of Bridgnorth Running Club and enjoys running, walking the dogs and Yoga.

Kayleigh Smart RVN – Veterinary Nurse

Kayleigh qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2017 and joined the team here in December 2017. Her hobbies include bodybuilding, keeping fit and socialising with friends. She is a supporter of LGBT and attends Pride every year. She is also a talented dog groomer!

Liz Perez RVN – Veterinary nurse

Liz qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2017 and worked in busy 24hour hospitals in London. She joined the team in Bridgnorth in January 2023 after moving to Shropshire from the city.  She has a keen interest in everything rabbits!  Her hobbies include yoga, running, swimming and watching ballet. She has a corgi called Percy, a ginger cat and two rabbits at home.

Sam Morrell RVN – Veterinary Nurse

Sam qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2021. At home she has a cat and a dog called Bella. In her spare time she likes to going on long walks with her partner and pooch and socialising  with friends.”

Cassie Summers – Receptionist/ Animal Care Assistant

Cassie joined BVC in October 2018 as support staff. She helps out with reception duties as well as with inpatient care. She previously worked as a pet stylist for 11 years. She owns a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Called Ginny, a Great Dane, and two cats

Manti – Receptionist

Manti joined the team in September 2021 as a full time receptionist. She previously worked for Bridgnorth Medical Practice. She has two lurchers, Daisy and Maggie who love long country walks. In her spare time she likes walking and creating things out of recycled timber.

Holly – Receptionist

Holly joined the BVC team in January 2022. She previously worked at Bridgnorth Hospital as a receptionist.
Holly has three cats and a 2 dogs, and is married with two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys going on long walks with her family, listening to music and cooking.
